Nicholas SEnz

My goal is to present the truths of the faith with enthusiasm, joy, and a bit of humor. I want to help guide people not only into a deeper understanding of their faith, but a deeper appreciation of it as something beautiful and life-giving.

I am the Director of Children's and Adult Faith Formation at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Arlington, TX. I was born and raised in Oregon, but journeyed down to California to earn my master's degrees in both philosophy and theology at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley, CA.

I have taught faith formation classes for all ages, from school children and graduate students. I am a certified Master Catechist with the California Catholic Conference and have taught catechists and deacon candidates for diocesan institutes in both California and Texas.

My writing has appeared in outlets including Aleteia, Busted Halo, Catholic Digest, Catholic World Report, and Homiletic and Pastoral Review.

Most importantly, I am a husband and father of three children.
